| 10-20-09 06:05 PM - Post#1791674 I know this has been answered in the past, but I couldn't find it by searching. Does anyone know what is the name of the Bel Air script font? And has anyone seen it in chrome?

| 10-21-09 06:43 AM - Post#1791845 In response to 56driver Found both of these on dafont.com. This one is called Dymaxion Script, it's close: http://www.dafont.com/dymaxion-script.font?nb_ppp=. But I like this one a lot better, it's called Hood Ornament: http://www.dafont.com/spitfire.font?nb_ppp=50 You can type in the phrase you want to see in these scripts, type in 'Chevrolet' and I think you'll like it.

Here's what you're looking for: the font used by Chevrolet goes by two names, both are the same font: RACEWAY & HOOD ORNAMENT. GM makes occasional slight changes to that font for their products, but those changes probably don't have a name.

Doc Holiday: 'Wyatt Earp is my friend' Cowboy: 'Hell, I got lots of friends' Doc Holiday: 'I don't' My reason for posting this is I believe that sometimes a person with few friends has better friends.

| 06-11-11 04:12 PM - Post#2102271 In response to Blind Pig Ooooooor, an adder could also be stated in this manner: To have a friend, first be a friend. The font info is interesting. I was toying with the idea of buying plain aluminum valve covers and having 'Chevrolet' engraved in them by a customer of mine. Until now, I didn't know where to find the font. CT comes through again!
